Dear All,
What softphone are you using, or is recommended by Cisco to use with UC540 or UC560?
I'm interested in both free and paid softwares.
Is there any Cisco PN for such software or is it included for free together with UC540/UC560 platforms.
Best Regards,
Lukasz

Cisco IP Communicator is a UC 500 recommended softphone.

Is there a limit to the number of softphones that can be used with a UC560?

No. Softphones (Cisco IP Communicator) are treated exactly the same as hardphones, and are limited only by the total number of devices supported by the platform.
Cheers,
Dave.

I am also curious, what Softphone works with the UC500 suite and Iphone?
I can see Jabber and Cisco 8.0 on the app store.
Do you have to get a third party SIP client to connect to a UC?
Iphones have been out for a while now. what is going on Cisco?

IP Communicator, as mentioned above, is th be choice but it runs on Windows only.
Otherwise, any third-party SIP client can work, altough not officially supported by Cisco.
