SPA504 with third party PBX

Hello,

Need your help, friends. First time I'm dealing with cisco SMB solutions. Client wants to buy couple of SPA504 and 3905 cisco phones for his office. They don't have any Cisco Call Agent on their site, so they will buy third-party IP-PBX system or they will use virtual Call Agent from SIP service provider.

In this case, do they need to buy any licencies for 3905 and SPA504 phones?

I can speak for the SPA phones, no license needed to connect to a standard SIP PBX or SIP service provider.
