Hello everyone,
When making an outbound call on my SPA504G it displays "Session Progress" when it's ringing. This is displayed right after "Calling" (which I'm assuming is a SIP 100 Trying). Is there any way to get a SIP 180 Ringing if the trunk doesn't send it so that the phone will display "Ringing" ?
It's more cosmetic, but some of the people here won't know what "Session Progress" is and will freak out.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Hi,
Add the following command on your cisco gateway that the SIP trunk is on:
voice service voip
no supplementary-service sip refer
supplementary-service ringback h225-info
redirect ip2ip
dial-peer voice 1 voip
no voice-class sip asserted-id
no voice-class sip early-offer forced
no voice-class sip block 180
voice-class sip block 183
dtmf-relay rtp-nte
sip-ua
disable-early-media 180
set pstn-cause 1 sip-status 503
set pstn-cause 102 sip-status 503
retry invite 2
retry bye 2
retry cancel 2

I apologize. I probably should have mentioned that this is on a SIP Asterisk/FreePBX configuration.
