The newest firmware for the SPA525G made EHS available, but when I look in the compatibility guide

http://goo.gl/RBO9qN, it seems as if you need a cable to connect the phone to the headset base. I wonder is this because the compatability guide has not been updated to reflect the recent firmaware or is this really so?

Any news with the 7.5.5b firmware? Haven't been able to find any info from Cisco about this newest firmware release

Download the ZIP with he firmware. The Release Notes PDF is inside, as obvious.

But the only difference documented is the XSS vulnerability has been patched.
