SPA525G2 keeps rebooting when adjusting volume

Hi,

I have just purchased some new SPA525G2 phones and I am having an issue as follows.

when I adjust the ringer volume to full (14) it reboots the phone!

I can adjust it down and up again and save it anywhere other than full volume.

is there a way to stop this?

Unless you have latest firmware, upgrade.

If you have latest firmware, reset it to factory default and try to adjust ringer volume to full. If it will reboot the phone, you hit firmware bug. Turn on syslog&debug, run syslog server to catch the messages, set ringer volume to full to trigger restart then call Cisco Small Business Support Center.
