Hi,
Is there any localization for the new SPA 500 series phones??? I tried to mix the CP52x translation, but it seems to generate only partial translation on the SPA phones. Any tip on this is appreciated.
Thanks,
Eivind

SPA500 uses the same files as SPA900. You can find the on:
For SPA500 phones
https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9931
For SPA525G.

Thanks,

Yes, there is a little trick that we are going to document. The SPA500 phones need the English dictionary even when they are working with other countries locales. Make sure that you specify a path for this file on your TFTP server that the phone can grab.
Let me know,
Marcos

Hi Marcos,
Is it documented already? Where is it documented? I have this issue with some SPA504G and SPA525G2 Phones that partially localize to spanish the soft key labels and menus on a UC540.
Can you tell me a little more detail on how to correct this?
Elias.
