Aside from my FXO routing issues I'm having on a 508G phone I've been told that my users are getting left 10 minute and 1 second voice mails when people hang up on the voice mail.
Is there something I need to configure in voice mail to stop this?
thanks,
Jamie.

Hi Jamie,
Please make sure you have run the Impedance Matching on each of your FXO lines (in the other thread we had you move one of the FXO lines to port 3 so need to run it on that port). What is happening here is that when the PSTN user disconnect the UC320W is not seeing the CPC disconnect tone on the FXO and so when voicemail reaches the max message length of 10 minutes, voicemail will disconnect the call. Normally, when there are two people in a talking state and then they hang up both parties hang up within a few moments of each other, clearing the call in both directions. Impedance matching will help make CPC disconnect tone detection more accurate.
What REGION do you have set in your UC320W out of curiosity?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
No I haven't run the Impedance Matching (doh!) I will do that now. My region is set to Australia.
Will let you know how it goes once I've run the IM.
thanks,
Jamie.

Hi Chris,
I've performed the Impedance Matching tests and setup the suggested numbers and i'm still having issues with the phone not hanging up. What else can I test / change to fix this?
thanks,
Jamie.

Hi Jamie,
Please put a call into the Small Business Support Center:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/support/tsd_cisco_small_business_support_center_contacts.html
They have some tools they can use to capture audio and then analyze the audio for the disconnect tone.
Thanks,
Chris
