I am struggling to get 2 x UC560 devices networked together . I was under the impression that as long as there was link between WAN ports the units would work together .

Sure, but it's not automatic, far from that.

Configuration It require specific experience and/or Cisco certifications.

Hi Alen,

Are you using CCA?

If so then this should be an almost straight forward process, you can use CCA to create intersite connectivity by creating the configuration on the one system which will be the primary one, and then CCA will produce a script file that you can use on the second system (Again using CCA to re-upload this script file), CCA should take care of both sites.

You may also need to use CCA to create the VPN tunnel between the two sites to ensure that security is tight and done right, and to ensure it complies with standard practices.
