UC520W-8U-4FXO-K9 Licensing Question

Hi, my customer have a UC520 with the following configuration. I want to know if it´s posible to assign multiple extensions to a single phone which as far as I know needs one (1) user license. For example, if I have 16 physical ip phones and assign 3 extensions to each one for a grand total of 48 extensions, is that a valid scenario?

In a past discussion, you told me this UC520 had been through an 8 users license upgrade:

16 users lincenses

4 FXS licenses

2 supplementary licenses

Total licenses:22

May I use these 2 supplementary licenses to add 2 physical ip phones?

Thanks in advance.

Gustavo.

Based on that output you have 22 user licenses available.

This means that you may have 22 IP Phones *registered* at the same time.

Registered means connected to the system and working.

You can *configure* more than 22, but only 22 will operate at once.

The 22 limit is just for the phones, the limit on extensions is MUCH higher and you are unlikely to hit it. (I think it is like 300 on the UC520/540 and 600 on the uc560, but don't quote me on that)

Thanks a lot Daniel for your very informative response.
