Hi, I am hoping you guys can help me with this. I have a new customer that has an older UC520. They have around 30 voicemail boxes setup, and a few "General Delivery" Mailboxes.
On one of the general delivery mailboxes(Their most important one) the end users have seems to lost the login password. I looked at the system via the CUE and i could see all of the personal mailboxes and the general mailboxes. I saw where you can change the password for the personal mainboxes, but no the general mailboxes.
Is their another way to change the password for a general mailbox on a uc520?
Thanks

Hi Michael,
General Delivery mailboxes are usually accessed via a user's personal
mailbox (Press 9) if they have been designated as members on
the GDM config
If that doesn't work, you might want to post this up in the UC500
sub-forum. Lots of great peeps there who can help you out.

Thanks for the input. I think they know how to access it however when they are asked for the password that is what they don't know.

Check personally what they are doing, because as Rob correctly indicated above, no PIN/password is needed to access a GDM.

Link above is about "direct transfer to voicemail". That has nothing to do with OP question.

I will take your advice and stop by to see the process flow. Then I will report back on what I find. Does the UC520 have a way i can reset the vmail password for a specific mailbox via the CLI?
