Hi there
I have purchased one of these phones privately as I am working from home taking calls. Is this phone compatible to do this?
Is there a way of using this phone without having a TFTP? As independently working I don't have these as I believe they are for corporate use?
Thanks
Jack

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out, unfortunately, you left a very important piece of info out. What is the model number of the phone you bought?
If it is a VOIP phone, you will need to connect it to your home network and register it to either a VOIP service or your corporate network.
We will be able to discus everything in more detail after we find out what the model number is.
Please let us know.

Not a problem.
Thank you for the reply.
Two things, the first one, this phone, the 7960 is an enterprise class device and this forums are directed to small business devices. I think the right section of the forum should be this one: IP Telephony
Second, what I said earlier still applies, Im positive you can use this phone in your house if you either have a VOIP provider that you can register the phone to, or your company provides you with an account to register the phone to headquarters so that you can make and receive calls.
If you don't have any of those then this phone won't work for you.
I hope this helps
