504G - lights on, cannot provision

Hi, I have a Cisco SPA 504G that I want to provision.  When I connect the switch to the phone I see 3 lights:

Red Microphone Mute button

Green Headset button

Green Hands-free button

Nothing on the display.  How do I get the display to show information?

Hi John,

Seems like you need to RMA the phone. I guees you cannot access the menu on the phone because the buttons are not working either, therefore you should get the phone replaced. If you want to place an RMA you need to open a TAC SR at:

http://tools.cisco.com/ServiceRequestTool/create/

Not really, all indicates the phone is dead.

Okay, thank you, Tere - If anyone else has a better solution on how to factory reset a 504G when the display is blank but the lights are on you can post a reply.

The problem is that the factory reset is done with the "setup" button on the phone, you have to  press it and scroll all the way down to menu #7 which says Factory Reset.

My phone vendor thinks Cisco has a way to un-brick the phone.  Can you ask about that?
