7975 will not operate in Octal Line Mode


We have a 7975 phone with a 7916 attached that was mistakenly setup as a dual line phone when it was installed.  Once we discovered the error, we changed the phone to Octal Line in the CCA but even after a reboot the phone will still only handle 2 calls.

Below is the Show Ephone information for the phone (with the additional buttons removed)

When I compare this information to another 7975 it looks almost identical except that my other phone does tno have the   cc(03)    after each channel.

What does this mean and could it be part of the problem?



I haven't seen this bug/problem before but I'd do a save config and reload.

reload the UC or the phone?

The UC. You can do it through CCA: Maintenance -> Restart/Reset...->Check Restart and click OK.

Deleting the phone and re-add fixes this issue.
