Adding BE6K to existing vCenter?

Jon Nelson

Can BE6K be added to an existing vCenter, assuming the customer has the licensing & setup for it and will it be TAC supported?

I can see running into this where customers already have a VMWare environment setup and want to centrally manage the platform using their existing management structure.

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jon,

Yes, BE6K can be added to an existing vCenter. By default ESXi hypervisor is installed but the option to move to foundation license is available.
