I live in Maine where the only area code is 207. We set up UC500 routers to replace pots lines, and we are over sip. I want to know what i would need to do in order to make the call automaticlly enter the 207 unless i dial 1 first? Similiar to what the uc300 does, it asks for default area code then lets you only do 7 digital dialing. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys!
I am running on 8.6.0 and cca 3.2.2 and sip trunk with nexvortex. thanks

Hello,
Please see the following post: https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3088256#3088256
In your case you would want something like this:
voice translation-rule 1112
rule 4 /^9/ /1207/
Please be aware, this is not possible with CCA. This can cause CCA issues and as such, the UC might be unsupported.
Thanks,

I try doing that and it says it cant do it because of the first rule 4 i have, so then i do a no rule 4 /^9/ / and then copy and paste the rule 4 /^9/ /1207/ and then it just times out and fast busys am i missing something?

Hello,
Can you please post the following:
Outbound dial-peer
Translation profile associated with the dial-peer
Translation rules associated with the translation profile
Thanks,
