Hello there,

We recently setup a new business and have setup four Cisco SPA525G2 IP phones.  We are using a hosted PBX service and SIP accounts for our VOIP service.

I have aproblem getting call pickup to work. In the Line Key extended function i have the following string:

fnc=blf+sd+cp;sub=1640000@$PROXY;ext=164000@$PROXY;nme=Bob

the blf and speed dial functions work well but the call pickup does not work. when i press the line key to pickup and incoming call on another extension i get this message "Invalid call: Bob **1640000"

Can someone please throw somw light on this issue?

Thanks in advance

Arnold,

You may want to try the Small Business Voice section of the site.  They deal more with the SPA phones.  You should be able to transfer the post to there.

Thanks,

Brian

This is the string I have used successfully.

What firmware version are you on? This is been tested on 7.5.2

fnc=sd+blf+cp;sub=Ext@$proxy;usr=DN@$Proxy

Thanks Brenden,

I am currently on Firmware version 4.3.9c so i will update this.

In your string what does "DN" reffer to? is tht direct number?

I have upgraded firmware to 7.5.4

String i am using now is:

fnc=sd+blf+cp;sub=1640000@$proxy;usr=1640000@$Proxy

Still no luck, when i press the line key to pickup the call i get:

Line 1 Forbidden to:*08

*08 being the Att Console call pickup code (on both phones)

Line 1 Forbidden to:*08

This is PBX issue, not the phone. You have to add extension to the allowed pickup group.
