I'm looking to transfer an incoming call based on the caller-id phone number. I want the caller-id number to go to a specific extention. I have both FXO and SIP trunks.
Incoming Call> Caller-ID > 1234567 > Go to Ext > 202 is the example.
I have a UC520W.
Thanks.

ciscojoe837,
You can route calls based on caller-id by using "answer-address"...
Example:
Dial-peer voice 4000 voip
answer-address 18666061866
Just remember that incoming numbers are matched to dial-peers in the following order:
1. incoming called-number (DNIS)
2. answer-address (ANI)
3. destination-pattern (ANI)
So, you must make sure that the incoming call does not match a dial-peer with an "incoming called-number" or it will not hit your dial-peer with "answer-address".
Thank you,
Darren

Hi Darren,
I have tried several things including the answer-address that you mention below.
I guess I should have mentioned that I'm looking for all of the specific command lines that are known to work from a production unit or test unit, both using voip and pots dial-peers.
Thanks.
Joe
