As a long term customer of cisco products (wireless, switching, routing, firewalls...) i recently bought a WIP310 SIP WIFI phone for my home.
I saw that there was a firmware ( wip310-5.0.13-04-26-2010 ) that was solving registration problems with trixbox.
So i downloaded the firmware, turned off the phone as mentioned in the book, executed the phone upgrade tool, wait, saw the different upgrade messages......All seemed perfect.
.....except that when i turned on the phone, it was still the 5.0.12 firmware displayed on the screen.
The phone is a R03 firmware revision.
I flashed one more time, but unsuccessfully, the firmware was still the 5.0.12.
What have i done that was wrong ?
