CCA 2.2.6: AP541N duplicate hostnames

Hi,

every time I connect to my UC560 from CCA  i get the error message that duplicate hostnames were found in the network.

It points me to the three AP541N APs which all show up with the default hostname AP541N-K9

I changed the hostnames several times from their default values from within CCA and also via the GUI of the AP541N.

Anybody else has seen this.

Happened in CCA 2.2.5 as well

Jo

Had the same issue a while ago nothing  to do with CCAA, turned out to be an issue with the firmware. Upgrade to the latest firmware and you’ll be able to change the hostname.

I also had the same issue until I upgraded the firmware to 1.9.x something.. sorry I can't recall the exact revision but I was previously on 1.7.

I did use 1.9.2 firmware.

But I still see the issue.

Joe,

I have seen this with ESW switches.

What I did was add one to the site so I could manage it, and then change it's host name in CCA, then added the second.
