Cisco 504G Personal Directory

Hi,

I've created an XML file for the personal directory and have added it to the second profile rule via TFTP. The TFTP server tells me the file has successfully been uploaded.

After the phone reboots, there is not data on the phone, so it seems it does not suck in the data from the XML file. I have tried a resync to no avail. Have also tried a factory reset.

Any ideas?

Don't mess the directory and configuration of the phone. The profile rule accepts configuration only. Personal directory belong to XML Directory Service URL

Well, may be I responded so fast. Despite you mentioned "directory", may be you wished to speak about "address book" instead.

So ...

Do you mean the XML file for XML Directory Service or the one suitable for  Personal Address Book ?

What's the content of the file in question ? What's phone's firmware version ?
