Cisco SPA504G & X-Lite v 4.5.5 - NAT traversal differences?

Hi everyone

We're trying to set up a remote colleague's Cisco handset (SPA504G), which is behind a Cisco Firewall (ASA 5500) using NAT, to talk to an Asterisk server. The Asterisk server is on a public IP.

We have a number of similar Cisco handsets working in similar environments, on home and serviced office LANs and behind various other firewalls successfully. The owner of the firewall has turned off inspection of SIP traffic on the firewall, and our "test" setup (a PC on the same VLAN running X-Lite version 4.5.5) worked fine, albeit using ICE and/or STUN (we tried both).

We've tried configuring the SPA504G using STUN, and also SIP keepalive – but we just don't see any traffic from the SPA505G leaving the firewall, and registrations just don't appear on the Asterisk (1.8) console, even when we turn SIP debugging on. Is there something special that the X-Lite software is doing that we're unable to replicate on the Cisco handsets? Or any suggestions of config changes to try on the SPA504G?

The SPA504G is running firmware version 7.5.5, I've attached the config file below.

Any assistance will be gratefully appreciated,

Mark

Turn on syslog&debug on SPA504G. Catch them. It could help you to analyze the issue.
