Click-to-call on the UC300

Does the UC300 have any click-to-call capabilities? We know that the UC500 supports CallConnector. We can integrate our applications with the UC300 if the UC300 provides an API for initiating calls. Are there plans for a click-to-call plugin for the UC300 like there is for the UC540 and UC560?

John,

Thanks for your question to the community.  Currently the UC320W does not offer a click to dial application capability.   Your question will be shared with the engineering group for consideration for possible enhancement.

John,

Randall is right that Call Connector is not supported, but there is a 3rd party click-to-call solution that Cisco helped guide.

My firm developed a click-to-call and Call Connector alternative. Call Ctrl Call Manager.

Call Ctrl was developed for the:

- Cisco SPA500 Series IP Phones (supported on the UC320)

- Cisco SPA300 Series IP Phones (supported on the UC320)

- Linksys SPA9X2 Series IP Phones

Call Ctrl supports the phones directly regardless of pbx, as long as it is SIP-compliant which the UC320 is. Originally developed for the SPA9000 (the UC320 predecessor) we decoupled the type of pbx and now support the phone directly.

As of today we have not completed testing with the UC320 and recommend you contact support for the latest version. Support will be happy to help get you up and running on the demo. Out testing should be completed by June 1st.

Thanks,

Steve Wofford
