Hi!
I have discovered, that there are no SPA telephones under the "load" command in "Telephony-service" section.
There are only 6xxx and 7xxx types.
Is there any way to configure SPA telephones in CME 9.0? Or this is only IOS question?
Regards,
Aleksei
HI,
Natively only folloing phones are supported

SPA telephones are not supported, so you will not find any load for them.
They will be added as third party SIP phones only.

Hmm. I have UC 540 with CME 8.0.
I have found the spa phones under the load command on UC540.
And there are no SPA phones in documentation for CME 8.0 also.

So I think there is some other reason.
By the way, how can I configure SPA telephone, which requires configuration and firmware from the CME, if consider that SPA is now third party?
Hi
See if this helps you for the configuration.

SPA phones use SPCP protocol. It is like a crippled version of SCCP/skinny. Presumably, Cisco wants these cheaper phones only to work on UC3XX and UC5XX systems and encourage you to buy more expensive phones for CME and CM..
However as other posters said, you can flash them with SIP firmware and then treat them as third party SIP phones.
However, as third party SIP you should expect some feature deficiencies compared to supported phones.
