Connecting to UC500 using SPA8800 at teleworker sites

Hi there,

            I need to configure UC560 System with 10 to 12 teleworker sites with 5 users in each of the teleworker site and 20 users at the Main site (HQ).

Can I use SPA8800 gateway in teleworker site to connect to HQ UC560?

SPA8800 is used to connect analog phones, that do have the features needed in a modern system, for that your should use IP phones.

Thank you for the prompt reply Paolo. I might not have been clear with my question. Here is what I need:

• All the teleworker sites will have IP Phones/ IP communicators not exceeding 5 in each of them.
• How can I use SPA8800 to behave as a Gateway with out using a router in teleworker site??
• Is that possible or do I have to use a router (say 800 Series Router) for establishing VPN through Internet??

To establish VPN, you will need a router at each site router, not SPA8800.

You will also need to engage a reputable consultant, or UC certfied cisco partner for design and configuration. The product are not meant to be configured by the end user.
