Cool xml scripts for phones

Hi,

I've seen some pretty neat apps via the phone display on the Enterprise side, are there any good/free phone apps for the UC system that can be easily installed for clients? I know about the timecard app, but where are some others and how are they setup to be delivered to the phone via the UC500 appliance?

Thanks in advance,

Bob James

Hi Bob,

In addition to the "Smart Applications" that come embedded in UC500 and configurable from CCA, there are some nice litte ones (some free) from a Partner of ours that you can try...

Is this what you meant?

Thanks Steve,

This is what I was looking for: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/all_models/xsi/7_0/english/programming/guide/xsi70obj.html

Basically I am looking to setup security alerts, and other fun stuff on the phone, but I needed to know the programming to do it. Now I just have to find the Canadian feeds I'm looking for.

Cheers

Dear Bob;

We are currently working on an area of this community to provide more information about the XML capabilities of the phones, documentation and examples so that you can start developing applications for theSPA500 phones, similar to what is available today on the CP7900 phones. Stay tuned.

Regards
Alberto

Thanks,

Yes very interested. I'm surprised at how much is available in the enterprise space, yet none on the SMB space.

Let us know when templates are available.

Cheers

Alberto, if you are still at Cisco, (I am thinking not, since I have not seen any posts from you in years), can you please fix the links to your scripts on this page, https://community.cisco.com/t5/small-business-support-documents/cisco-spa-xml-services-for-asterisk-environments/ta-p/3295263 , as they are all broken.
