I had an SBSC engineer tell me at some time recently that there's some issue with certain software versions of CUE where it can suddenly experience corruption meaning data loss. He said to upgrade to 8.6. Can someone tell me which versions were affected and maybe more info about this issue? I have a client with a UC500 that experienced some issue about every three months like this and we've had to rebuilt CUE at least once (pain in the neck) and I need to know if upgrading would possibly fix the issues. If you can provide the affected CUE versions as well as Software Pack versions, that would be helpful, and of course in which versions it was corrected.

As the Cisco engineer correctly indicated, you need to update to latest without doubt.

Hello,
This issue is fixed in CUE version 8.6.5. That version of CUE is included in software packs 8.6.1 and newer.

Please note, this issue only affects UC560s.
