Default password for a Cisco SPA508G

I am in need of the default admin password for a Cisco SPA508G phone.

I was told

"These phones never pulled the configuration, so they can be factory reset using the Cisco default passcode. This code should be easily available from Cisco, your provider." 

Can you assist?

By default our SPA504g phones have no username or password required to access the web administration pages - would have thought the SPA508g would be the same. If they are preconfigured by a provider it is possible they have locked it preventing even a factory reset.
