Does anyone know Cisco's plan to integrate UC5xx and Microsoft Lync?

Microsoft Lync's is getting a lot of attention from our clients, and we are listing. What is Cisco's plan for UC500 integration with Microsoft Lyncs?

Hi Michael;

This is currently under evaluation. No short term plans, but actually evaluating differences (deltas, if any) between CSTA support on OCS and Lyncs. As you may know UC520 provides basic integration with OCS.

any update on this since Lync 2010 is out? Seems Cisco has integration with 8.5 now, but not wuth the UC500 series?

There are no current plans to integrate UC500 with Lync.

There is RCC integration from UC520 to Microsoft UC today, and UC520 integration to Microsoft Exchange 2010 UM works quite well also.

Just a note, you cannot do RCC with Office 365.  You must have Lync on-premise.
