I have set the region to Brazil for a client, but he needs the system prompts and AA default messages to be in english. How can I have the Brazil dial plan with english language?
This is currently not possible. Note product is not available for Brasil (not sure how you obtained the product).
Thanks for the reply. I got the device from US & sent it for a client in Brazil. The brazil region is available in the configuration interface and the dial plans work fine so far. but the since the client is english, he needs the system prompts and AA messages to be in english.
Having said the exact situation. What can we do for him?
By the way, is would be great to provide system admins with a defualt region pack so that they can edit it for their use and deploy it to their systems.
Unfortunately this is not supported at this stage. You can set the phone UI to english via the phone menu. AA prompts can be manually re-recorded from any IP phone. VM will still remain in Portuguese.
Region packs are created by Cisco under request and a business case. As the product is not yet authorized to be sold in Brasil, we are not accepting any request involving the country yet.
