Existing UC560 to use SIP Technology

Hi Guys,

We currently inquiry about moving to the SIP technology, however got told our UC560 will not be compatible but will need to get a SIP converter. (Integrated Access Device)  not sure if this correct as I couldn't find any compatiblity details for the UC560 device.

"UC560 ---> SIP convert ----> SIP technology provider"

Any help would be much appreciated.

I believe Voip Gateway device is what I need if that is correct?  please advise.
