How do I gain access to certain docs...

I was trying to read: Deploying Cisco Small Business 200/300 Series Switch with UC320W but I am not able to access the docs.. I was just in the process of setting up uc 320 with SG 200 switch..

Hi,

This is one area of Cisco support that I find both frustrating and annoying! I've purchased a UC320W and install/maintain it myself - with no great problems, but as soon as I want any doc other than the idiot guides, I have to jump through hoops to obtain it. These support/implementation documents should be available to someone who has spent good money purchasing the product, without having to go to a 'partner'!

At the very least the FULL set of available documents, should have been included on a CD with the unit, if you are not going to make them available for direct download by the OWNER of the product!

I don't want and 'support services', just access to the documents that give me full information regarding the money I spent.

Hi Clive,

The UC320 is intended to be sold and deployed through a certified Cisco partner.  Although the product is relatively easy to configure / deploy vs. competitive products we want to ensure that our customers get up and running as smoothly as possilbe and this is why we rely on our partner community.  That said, the CD that came with the device should include all of the documentation needed to get the device deployed.   Is there a specific document that you are after?

UC300 Implementation Guide should also be freely accessible

Wireless LAN in the UC300 would be a plus

Basic documents should be accessible to anyone that purchased EC 320
