Inbound Call Flow on UC540

Hello,

I have a receptionist that only wants to check a single voicemail box.  She wants a Blast group to ring 3 phones including extension 500 (her's) on Call number 1.  She also wants  concurrent Call number 2 to ring a blast group to the 2 other phones as well as extension 501 on her phone.  Concurrent call number 3 rings the 2 other phones as well as Extension 502 on her phone.  If no one answers the calls she wants the calls to end up in the VM for extension 500.  The only way I see how to do this is to tell the Blast group to ring 500 as a final number which then will dump it in that VM box eventually but it starts the ring sequence all over again so that the caller is ringing for twice as long.

Any way to get this done but dump teh calls straight into the VM for DN 500 if no on answers on the first go round?

Thanks in advance.  All replies rated.

Hello Scott,

This is definitely possible. You should have a voicemail transfer steering digit on the system. You use this digit+extension to send calls directly to a VM box, without ringing the phone first. The default voicemail transfer steering digit is 6. So to use extension 500 as an example, the blast group final destination would be 6500. You can verify your voicemail transfer steering digit in CCA under: Configure -> Telephony -> Users and Extensions -> Voicemail

Thanks,
