Linksys SPA962 in SOS RECOVEY MODE"

Hello, The device SPA962 gives the error "SOS RECOVEY MODE". We tried to install firmware 6.1.3a, but the error "upgrade falied firmware upload incomlete" comes out. Please give the firmware version 5.x.x. to restore the device, or give the initial firmware of the device. The serial number of the device is 4MM00H401726.

Firmware is copyrighted material - no one but Cisco can provide it to you. But SPA962 has reached End-Of-Support and you have no active support contract. You can call Cisco SMB support center, but they will not help you as far as I know.

Firmware files for SPA962 are here. Unfortunately, none of firmware package published contain "recovery" version of firmware upgrade utility. It seems you are out of luck ...

Well, there's small light on the end of black tunnel. Read S.O.S Firmware Recovery Protocol Specification. It allows you to hack recovery firmware tool by self. You can recover phone using *.bin form of upgrade file then.
