I have been trying to find out what the maximum time I could record using live record on a UC520. What is the maximum time in seconds I can set a recording to, and what is the maximum time I could expect to actually achieve if there were no other messages stored?
Thanks for any guidance!

The max recording time is essentially the maximum amount of space in the mail box. It uses the same storage. If the user has 1 minute left in the mailbox, your max length that can be recorded at that time is 1 min. If the user has 30 mins availabe, the max length would be 30 mins. Hope that helps.

Thanks, what I am trying to find out is what that "maximum amount of space in the mail box" can be set to. If I wanted to have one user who wanted to record one message on my UC500, how long could that user record?

I am not running the 7.1 EA SW pack, but am running 7.0.3 (SBCS 1.5 bundle) with CCA 2.0 and I decided to do a Demo of Live record, and I show how you can monitor voice mailbox usage fropm CCA (New Monitor capability), VVE, IMAP Integration, remote access,...etc...
Turned out being about 21 minutes, but covered alot of ground. Maybe it can help a little.
Its on the VOD page for SBCS:https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-10460
At the bottom showing June 14th Date with Title Live Record.....
