Multiplatform CP-7841-3PCC-K9 IP phone not pulling DNS from Dymanic DHCP server

Hi all,

 

We have an odd problem and wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem and found a solution.  We have tested connecting our CP-7841 IP phone on two different networks that work fine with any other device, but the phone is the only device that does not automatically update its DNS from the dynamic DHCP server on the router.  We were able to manually enter 8.8.8.8 for IPv4 settings and update the firmware to latest sip78xx 11-3-1-1MSR1-3, and we were hoping that this upgrade would solve this odd problem; however, after a factory reset and connecting the phone to even a different local network with different routers and switches as per testing, the phone still does not pull the DNS server automatically like all other devices do.  Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?
