Hello-
I am setting up a customer with a UC560, and have never configured one for a PRI interface using a T1 WIC. The phone company has asked some questions that I don't know the answer to, and I have been unable to find clear answers after extensive searching. Here are their questions:
1) what protocol do you need to see NI 1, NI2, ATT, ? After searching, I am assuming NT2?
2) switch supervision required ? ( EM1 EM2 ) I did not find any information on this, so I do not know how to respond.
3) how many digits do you want to see (99% chose 4) It sounds like 4 digits? But again, I don't know how to respond.
Any help that can be provided is appreciated.
Thanks,
Derek

Tell them the following:
Switch Type: NI2
Linecode: B8ZS
Framing: ESF
Digits: 4 is fine unless you have alot of DIDs
You may need to verify if you have control over Caller-ID. This feature is called Calling Party Number.
