outbound SIP trunk calls failing

Hello,

I have my UC540 setup and the inbound SIP trunk calls work great, the outbound is the issue.

I pulled the logs and found the following error from the trunk provider:

SIP/2.0 404 Number not in e164 format, example +12125551212

My provider (bandwidth.com) says that I need to add a "+" in front of the numbers going out that trunk.

Anyhow know how to do this?

Thanks!!

Hello Tony,

If you are using CCA under Caller ID tab of the outgoing dial plan window you may setup the CallerID and you may put + under the additional callerid settings on the lower window.

Further reading for CCA - Admin guide 3.2.1 p.461

In CLI you need to add "+" in front of the translated number in the translation rule.

HTH,

Alex
