Hi Cruz,

In CCA did you configure your E-1 correctly?

If you have no need for the FXO ports then in CCA you can disable them so that way all your calls go directly to the E-1 service.

Are you getting any errors when you try to make a call now? Do you have some ISDN debug captures for us to look at?

Cheers,

David Trad.

I did the configurarion in the CLI, becasu for Mexico i dont hace the options in the CCA for R2 Modified, i used this configuration for the E1 port:

controller E1 0/3/0

framing NO-CRC4

line-termination 75-ohm

ds0-group 1 timeslots 1-15,17-31 type r2-digital r2-compelled ani

cas-custom 1

  country telmex

  category 2

  answer-signal group-b 1

  caller-digits 4

  group-callerid-end

I contracted with the ISP the E1 complete 31 channels.

When i made a try to call on the IP phone it take to long to get a tone and the cut off the signal, i call 9 and 7 digits (93149693).

i have this in the default sh run command

trunk group ALL_FXO

max-retry 5

voice-class cause-code 1

hunt-scheme longest-idle

!

voice-port 0/3/0:1

!

voice-port 0/1/0

The issue here is in the dial peer is directed to trunkgroup ALL_FXO, and this trunkgroup is in the FXO trunks.

I dont know how can i tell to the UC to use the E1 port instead of FXO.

I need help for this.

Hi Cruz,

Can you please put your configuration onto a text file, and then upload it up too hear so I can see it please.

Please also make sure to remove any of the sensative information such as username and passwords and WAN ip addresses from the configuration, or just replace the characters with an "X" so that way you do not reveal any sensative information.

Cheers,

Hi Cruz,

Please give the following a try... I hope I havent missed anything as I am at work right now and wasnt able to spend much time on it, but this is all I could come up with right now without focusing on the issue...

In theory you should be able to just copy and paste this as I have tried to steer away from anything that is the same on yoru configuration, however before you apply this configuration please make a backup of your current one.

I will try tomorrow in the morning in the office.

I have one question where did you tell to use the E1 port, as i see here you create a trunk group for ALL_T1E1 but this name is customized right?

i does not mean the UC will know wich port is for outgoing calls.

For example this

voice-port 0/3/0:1

!

voice-port 0/1/0

trunk-group ALL_FXO 64

cptone MX

connection plar opx 30099

description Configured by CCA 4 FXO-0/1/0-OP

caller-id enable

!

Voice port 0/1/0 is the FXO and member of trunk group ALL_FXO

And i suppones my E1 is the Voice-Port 0/3/0:1

What is the meaning of 0:1, channel 1? or it is the complete channel the first  longest iddle?

How it works?

Hi Cruz,

I am not sure why yours is that, I mostly see the E1's here in Australia as "voice-port 0/2/0:15"

I couldn't tell you how the E1 should be configured in your country sadly

If you are not sure if the ISDN is working (E1) then make sure you do a "debug isdn q931" and advise of the results.

Cheers,

David Trad.
