overseas caller id prefix

I've had a system that randomly adds the 'overseas' prefix to mobile numbers that are coming in. These numbers are definitely not from overseas so am unsure why the uc520 is displaying the word 'overseas' infront of the number.

Is this just the system misinterpreting the clid or something that the telco is sending incorrectly?

I haven't been able to debug it yet as it is not easily replicated.

Unless there has been some creative configuration on this box, then the 'overseas' label is coming from somewhere else.  It is not something we do by default.  My guess is that the SP is inserting this in the calling name field.  Grab a trace of the incoming call (either ISDN debug or SIP debug depending on where the call is coming from) and have a look at what they are including in the SETUP/INVITE.  My guess is that you will see it there.

Cheers,

Dave.
