Hi this is newbie question. I went through and did and manual setup of the BE3000 added several users to a usage profile and associated phone to the users. Finally I  plugged the phones in to the network and they are not registering. I am assuming the phones need to know who to find the telephone system. What am I missing?

If you do not want to manually enter tftp ip address (and have static IP address for phones), you can also setup DHCP and with option 150 to point to tftp server.

Thanks

Hi,

Please check the tftp IP on the Phone. ensure BE3000 IP is given on tftp IP. Also ensure Phone IP is reachable to BE3000.

Hello,

The phones are not recivieing TFTP address for the BE. How does the TFTP server address get to the Phones?

No I wanted to do it via DHCP but was not sure how. So it is called DHCP option 150. Okay I will look that up.

Thanks!
