One thing that I am noticing with my Skype Sip trunk is that there are some noticable delays:
When I have finished dialing the number, the UC500 starts ringing however it will ring about 3 times in my IP phone before the number I am calling begins to ring. I have been able to test this with my cell phone.
When the dialed party pucks up the call, there is at least a full second delay before I start hearing the person on the other end. Sometimes there is enough delay that the person I have called says "Hello" but I never get a chance to hear them say it due to the delay.
My question is, is this an issue with the Skype service or with the configuration on my UC?
#1 is something I have seen and reported to Skype for inbound calls - the UC500 does not see an inbound call till when you hear the 3rd ring on the calling phone. You may want to raise this as an issue as well on your beta account
#2 Have not seen this issue - is this for outbound calls from UC500 or inbound?
