Hi

when I deploy my phone in a car dealer shop, all phones working well except one spa 512 not working with uc320, when i connected it to sge 1020p sw, it powered up and after a while, it display "initializing network" and dead there, not going to the rest process such as go search DNS, and synchronizing.... and all the keys of the phone are dead, so I can not change it to the default factory setup. i tried the manu key all the time when it power up, but it alway locked. so how can I do with this phone?

       Thanks in Advance

Rex.

Hi Rex,

Are the other phones connected to the SGE2010?  If it’s the older version with the Linksys logo it does not support CDP or LLDP.  One of these discovery protocols are needed for the phone to register to the UC.

It is still possible to register the phones through the SGE through a pmf that can be installed on the UC320W.  Just make sure you have your switch properly configured with VLAN 1 and 100 and a trunk port going back to the UC320W.  Then follow the directions from this link.

If you have further questions let me know.

Thank you,

Jason Nickle

To add to Jason's post, ensure the port of the switch connecting to the phone has port fast enabled, otherwise the phone will boot loop/lock symptom as well.
