SPA501G CALL PICKUP HOW TO ?

HI anyone know how to pickup call from SPA501G. I have Cisco UC560-FXO-K9 with

Version 8.1
Max phoneload sccp version 17
Max dspfarm sccp version 18
Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express



I test it with IpCommunicator an works, but I don't now how to pickup a call from SPA501G,
In data sheet cisco says
** Feature requires support by call server.
I don't understand it.....
Can someone help me ?

You'll need to send a star code out for that call pickup.  If the star code needs to go to server, add the star code to the feature dial services code.  For more details on this parameter, please download the admin guide for the spa5xx phones from cisco.com.

Hi Christian

For UC500 you can also check which feature access codes are configured, telnet the unit and in enable mode run:

UC540#

sh telephony-service fac

telephony-service fac standard

callfwd all **1

callfwd cancel **2

pickup local **3

pickup group **4

pickup direct **5

park **6

dnd **7

redial **8

Once you have created your pickup group press **4 from SPA501G to pickup the call ringing at ext in the same group, this also applies for analog phones.
