Hello everyone,
We have SPA502g phones registered to UC560 (version 8.6)
users want to create personal Speed Dials on SPA502g phone via phone menu
as per user manual,
You can use the phone menu to add a speed dial that is not associated with a line
button.
Cisco SPA502G, Cisco SPA504G, Cisco SPA508G, Cisco SPA509G, Cisco SPA514G:
To add a speed dial:
STEP 1 Press the Setup button.
STEP 2 Scroll to CME Services and press Select.
STEP 3 Scroll to My Phone Apps and press Select.
STEP 4 Scroll to Speed Dial Buttons and press Select.
STEP 5 Press Add to add a new number.
STEP 6 Enter the following information:
Label: Enter a name or other identifier for this speed dial entry.
Number: Enter the destination number.
STEP 7 Press Submit.
At STEP3 when choosing option 4 CME Services, we don't have any CME service available.
In CCA 3.2(2) i can add the speed-dials normaly, but users want to enter and delete the entries by themself.
What can be the issue?
Thank you for any feedback

Paolo a big thank you for your feedback!
right now i can't change the config and do a phone restart because the UC560 & phones are in production and inside working hours, but i did check the following:
UC560#sh telephony-service | inc cnf
cnf-file location: system:
cnf-file option: PER-PHONE-TYPE
create cnf-files version-stamp 7960 Sep 03 2013 09:10:39
to me this seems fine, with your commands i will only change the location to flash?
What do you think about this, is there any other possible cause to this issue?
Or do you still strongly advise me to try out the
cnf-file location flash
cnf-file perphonetype
create cnf-files
commands?
Thank you again!
Regards!

Sorry, I don't know. None of my customer use SPA phones, and all work fine with other phones model.
