Unusual request here, but I hope someone can help.

We have taken over an office from a former firm and purchased the equipment that came with it.

There are three VOIP phones that belonged to the firm here and we have no idea who set up the accounts or how to reset/ use them, as we want to set up our own VOIP lines now for our firm. The reset is impossible without an admin password- someone called 'Ian' appears to have set them up, so I have no idea who to contact. They are unplugged at the moment. The previous firm appears to have no VOIP phone contract.

What details would you need? We would only need one phone to begin with- here are the details from one phone.

SPA502G phones that we are effectively locked out of!

See if you can run a wireshark on the same hub as the phone, reboot the phone and see if the phone tries to get provisioned from a particular ip address or domain name and the filename that it tries to obtain, then you can emulate that so you can give the phone a new provisioning file with a new admin password.
