SPA504G to ring when voicemail received

Hi,

I would like the SPA504G to ring when a voicemail has been received. I tried to find something on the phone to configure, but no luck.

Anyone out there who can help or steer me in a direction?

Hard to give you a advice as you provided no description of your environment.

But note that voicemail is not provided by phone. Voicemail is service provided by call manager, sip proxy, or whatever undisclosed equipment you are connected to.

Unless such equipent will trigger phone's rigner, then you are out of luck.

As I claimed already, SPA504G will not ring unless ordered by SIP proxy.

I have no experience with FreePBX GUI for Asterisk. You should ask in a forum dedicated to FreePBX.

Thanks for helping. I can now rule out the phone and try other options.
