SPA525G no "Set Password" option

Hi guys,

I have a SPA525G (Version: 7.5.3) which has no "Set Password" option under "Setup" -> "Device Administration".

it only has: Restart, Factory Reset, Call Control Settings.

do you have any ideas?

Sounds like the phone was provisioned to block this access.

Are you able to get into the web UI of the phone?

Under System tab of web UI, is Phone UI user mode set to No?  If so, set to Yes.

yes, the Phone UI user mode is set to No.

how can I set it to yes?

there is no drop menu..even if I go to http://IP/admin/advanced..

the "Web Server Writable" should be enabled.

If you are in the admin/advanced, you should be able to access all the settings.  Are you able to see the drop down for other parameters?  Just this one parameter has the drop down problem?
