SPA525G2 Discontinued?

Is the SPA525G2 phone really discontinued? What are they replacing it with?

Hello Dan,

I am not aware of the SPA525G2 being discontinued. Please be aware the G2 replaced the previous G version which is EOL/EOS.

Here is the EOS/EOL notice for the SPA phones which only mentions the G: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps10499/products_eol_models.html

Can you provide me the documentation were you saw that?

I am aware of the G2 from G. I have not been able to order a SPA525G2 from any of my vendors for the last couple months at least and when you visit some of their websites it states that they are Discontinued while some state that they are on Backorder, but dont have an ETA for delivery.

If you do a quick google search you will see several pop up.
