SPA525G2 - Time Format and Call Progress Tones

Hello.

Can any one advise how I can change the date format from MM/DD to DD/MM - we'd prefer the UK format.

Also, does anyone have the settings for UK tones instead of US ones?

Documentation on both of these features is quite lacking.

Finally, is there a way to change the format or wrap the NAME value that is shown? Some of ours get truncated.

Hi,

Here are the full UK tones, should work for most models. It's provisioning XML, but you can copy/paste the values into the fields if you're doing it by hand:

350@-19,440@-22;10(*/0/1+2)
420@-16;10(*/0/1)
520@-19,620@-19;10(*/0/1+2)
400@-20;10(.375/.375/1)
400@-20;10(*/0/1)
480@-10,620@0;10(.125/.125/1+2)
400@-20,450@-20;*(.4/.2/1+2,.4/2/1+2)
440@-10;30(.3/9.7/1)
600@-16;1(.25/.25/1)
950@-16,1400@-16,1800@-16;20(.330/0/1,.330/0/2,.330/0/3,0/1/0)
914@-16,1371@-16,1777@-16;20(.274/0/1,.274/0/2,.380/0/3,0/4/0)
914@-16,1371@-16,1777@-16;20(.380/0/1,.380/0/2,.380/0/3,0/4/0)
985@-16,1371@-16,1777@-16;20(.380/0/1,.274/0/2,.380/0/3,0/4/0)
350@-19,440@-22;10(.75/.75/1+2)
350@-19,440@-19;2(.2/.2/1+2);10(*/0/1+2)
600@-19;*(.1/.1/1,.1/.1/1,.1/9.5/1)
350@-19;20(.1/.1/1,.1/9.7/1)
397@-19,507@-19;15(0/2/0,.2/.1/1,.1/2.1/2)
600@-16;.3(.05/0.05/1)
600@-19;.2(.05/0.05/1)
60(.4/.2,.4/2)
60(1/2)
60(.25/.25,.25/.25,.25/1.75)
60(.4/.8)
60(2/4)
60(.2/.4,.2/.4,.2/4)
60(.4/.2,.4/.2,.4/4)
60(0.25/9.75)
60(.4/.2,.4/2)

I got that from old Sipura documentation, which somewhere between then and Linksys and/or Cisco has been 'lost'.
Cant help with MM/DD problem, but you may find this useful for daylight savings..
start=3/-1/7/1:0:0;end=10/-1/7/2:0:0;save=1:0:0
Yes
Hope this is of use.

In the user tab, under supplementary services, there's the Date Format to switch the month and day.

Regarding the tones, you can find the info at http://www.3amsystems.com/wireline/tone-search.htm

Regarding the MM/DD switcharound, that feature will be provided in a future release.  Probably Spring 11'.

In the user tab, under supplementary services, there's the Date Format to switch the month and day.

Thanks for everyone's help - very much appreciated.

One last query. One of our SIP systems uses * to define clients.

i.e XXXX*YYYY = XXXX being the client prefix, YYYY being the extension.

So, if we want to call another client, we could dial 0565*3423 but the phone says "Invalid Number". Have tried this on a Snom without any problems and have checked my dial plan on the SPA without any joy.

Will the * get interpreted by the SPA as some sort of shortcut and then fail?

Thanks!

Can you try with your dial plan expliciting having xxxx*xxxx to see if that corrects this?  It should work.  If not, send the htm config (just log into the web page as admin/advanced and save as htm.  Also the debug log of the call.
