I have an SPA9000 which used to work with an SPA962 until that phone exploded with a loud bang.
Now I plug an old analogue phone into the FXS1 port and this works fine as a phone.
However, my bank and credit card companies now require me to key in a number to authorise my transactions. Pressing the numbers on the keypad do not seem to do anything.
Am I right that this is something to do with DTMF codes and I need to do something on the SPA9000 to make them work?
Is there a replacement for the SPA9000 as it is quite old now. If not, are there any phones I can buy that will work with it?
